Dear Nigel and Susan,
I feel that I have to write to you and inform you of the most wonderful experiences we all had on our narrow boat holiday with you. The boat was superb. Everything on board that we would need for our comfort and information to be used along the way. We were 4 young at heart O.A.Ps and I must admit 2 of our party were not too keen about the whole idea.
From parking the car in the Marina at Barnoldswick and to our return 5 days later we honestly had the time of our life. The help and information we received from your staff was second to none and even thought we couldn't possibly take all the information in at the start - the book left on the boat was our BIBLE!!!. Each time we reached a problem it was there in the book what to do. The boat was wonderful - so spacious and clean. We only travelled about 20 miles all told in the 5 days (my husband says we could have walked it quicker) !!! - but it was so wonderful finding out what was lying around the next corner. We were blessed with fine weather too, which was great. I don't think it would have been quite as enjoyable in the rain. We met some lovely people along the way and had a lot of help from most of them. We never stopped laughing - felt like teenagers again. The icing on the cake was seeing Pru and Tim coming out from the tunnel we were waiting to go in to. They were making a documentary for T.V. how lucky was that.
I cannot praise you and your staff enough for all the work you put into making your holidays so special. It really was a wonderful experience.
